The programme offers a broad interdisciplinary degree devoted to Classical Greek culture, archaeology, history, literature, and philosophy. Students study the archaeological monuments and historical development of ancient Greece while gaining familiarity with Ancient Greek and Latin through the examination of important classical texts. The curriculum also includes Modern Greek language classes during the first year of study. The programme combines critical thinking, historical analysis, archaeological interpretation, and academic writing skills through both classroom teaching and extensive field-based learning.
