The General Maintainer is responsible for supporting electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general facility maintenance to ensure safe, efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the property or workplace.
Carry out routine facility maintenance including basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical work.
Maintain essential equipment such as air-conditioning units, refrigerators, water systems and other facility equipment.
Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical wiring, lighting fixtures and control equipment where authorized.
Inspect systems and equipment to identify defects, safety risks and required repairs.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to help reduce equipment failures and operational downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in guest rooms, public areas, offices and operational spaces.
Maintain maintenance records, service reports and equipment inspection documentation.
Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with supervisors, specialists or external contractors when major repairs are required.
